To start with, check out the model of the existing model and choose accordingly the new bidet model. Consider the space allotted and the footprint of the new fixture compared to the bidet being replaced. Water inlet pipe at the backside of the bidet should be determined and turned off after you have shut down the water supply for the complete house.
Having turned of the water to the existing bidet, dissociate the pipelines. Gently loosen and remove the water lines from the existing bidet with a crescent wrench. Be cautious, do not deteriorate the outlet pipe.
Line up the new bidet or sink in the existing footprint. Connect the outlet pipe and ensure that is properly fastened. Put on the water supply and check for leaks. Re- tighten the pipes and fittings if needed.
As an added measure of security when reconnecting water lines, use a small amount of Teflon tape on the threaded portion of the connector.
